I just want good phone service

For better or worse, I'm currently a Sprint user. At the time having Sprint was the only way to do free calling to the Lady and other family members since they all used Sprint. I'm watching these commercials that Sprint is airing lately touting television programming, music videos, music and ringtone downloads, all kinds of crap. Which is great I guess. I have ZERO interest in using my phone as a device to watch television or listen to music. I guess that's why I'm not psyched about the Apple iPhone, the device holds no attraction to me.

All I want out of my cellphone is the ability to make a call anywhere I want. I hate not being able to make a call while in many Metro stations whenever I'm going downtown for work or play. I hate having to wait until I reach Grosvenor station before I can make even a quick call before diving into the subway tunnels again.

Losing my cell on road trips when we are navigating the Appalachians of MD or West Va. also sucks. Oh sure we can get the craptacular ANALOG ROAM when in the mountains or when visiting my in-laws in Arkansas. But that costs extra and the service quality stinks on ice. Hell, we often lose service while talking on the cell phone when on the ground level of our house or even in our grocery store down the street. I'd never be one of these people who give up a land line in place of cell phone service, at least not in this house or with Sprint as a provider.

I don't care if it means more towers in people's backyards, I want more coverage. Give me stronger signals!
